Mō te tūnga | About the role
Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) provides a range of services to support the delivery of Corrections' core business and ensure we can maintain consistent service delivery regardless of external events and crises.
Our Digital Solutions team partner with the business to develop and support a range of key products across both BAU and project work. We're currently looking for a passionate Digital Solutions Developer to join us in designing, developing, and supporting innovative solutions for staff and business units across Corrections.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our National Office in Wellington. Applications from outside the region will only be considered if you would be willing to re-locate. Please ensure you note this on your cover letter.
What You'll Do:
- Grow your skills across various products, including ServiceNow, Oracle Application Express, web development, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, streamlining business processes and workflows for enhanced efficiency.
- Apply best practice to automate, develop, document, and integrate applications
- Help shape and maintain our internal technical documentation, configurations, and processes.

We're looking for someone with:
- A good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience working in agile teams
- Confidence developing and supporting integrated applications
- Familiarity with PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML—and a keen interest in building your skills in these areas
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $124,758 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $106, 045 - $149,710 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
