Mō te tūnga | About the role
We're looking for a Procurement Adviser to provide high-quality procurement advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring policy and process compliance and supporting contract requirements. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and other industry professionals, building relationships across a wide network.
As part of the Asset Management Procurement Team, you'll play a key role in delivering large-scale construction, vertical and horizontal infrastructure, bespoke builds, and fit-out projects. These projects demand procurement expertise, strong commercial acumen, and effective knowledge of Government Procurement Rules and their application., together with a solid understanding of All of Government panels, and secondary procurement objectives.
Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) plays a vital role in supporting Corrections' core operations, ensuring the organisation can maintain consistent service delivery despite external challenges. This team provides essential procurement services that directly impact the success of critical infrastructure projects across the Department.

- Experience in a procurement team, with knowledge of the Government Procurement Rules
- Construction sector experience (sales, procurement, or related areas) is advantageous
- Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $91,234 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $77,549 - $109,481 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
