Our Finance team are now recruiting for a Financial Performance Analyst, on a secondment/fixed-term basis until 22 May 2026.
In this role, you will produce high quality, insightful, trusted performance information, and advice to enable the business to understand its operations. You'll be supporting Budget Managers, the Business Partners, and the wider Finance team in providing clear, accurate, timely and robust analysis and advice to drive longer-term operational performance and enable sound decision making.

Whilst you are part of a team where everyone helps each other out you primarily will be looking after a specific business group team, which allows you to deep dive into the inner workings of the department and also have insight into the great work we do and how we positively impact the community.
We are a collaborative team where you can bounce ideas off each other and have support within the unit, so someone who is able to work independently but also alongside others and bring them along on the journey will be ideal.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A passion for using your skills to support changing lives
- Excellent relationship management skills and demonstrated success in working across business groups in a collaborative manner. This is a people-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytical, decision making and financial management skills to successfully influence and improve business performance. You will be keen to explore the “what”, the “so what”, and the “what now”.
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to present complex information to a range of audiences.
- Knowledge and practical experience of financial tools and information systems.
- Experience which demonstrates sound judgement and a high level of self-motivation and initiative to set and achieve goals.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $106,789 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $90,771 - $128,147 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
