Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our supportive team in Hamilton. You'll be part of a team of approximately 10 psychologists working across both community settings and Waikeria Prison. Our office provides a professional and collegial environment, with flexible working options, peer supervision, and training opportunities. The team works closely together and collaborates with other psychologist teams and offices across New Zealand.
The role involves working with a diverse range of clients in both prison and community settings, conducting assessments, therapy, and case consultations. Comprehensive training and supervision are provided, with opportunities to develop your skills to contribute to court reports and provide expert testimony. Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and have allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours, depending on the work demand. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
In addition to your salary, become eligible for five weeks of annual leave after one year of service, increasing to six weeks after four years of continuous service.
