Programme Facilitator - Auckland Women's Corrections Facility

About this role

Programme Facilitator – Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility (ARWCF)

Mō te tūnga | About the role

Our Programme Facilitators come from different backgrounds, cultures, education and experience – but they all share the ability to motivate and work alongside others to support them to make positive changes in their lives. We are currently seeking interest from people who enjoy working collaboratively, are open to feedback and interested in their own development, are passionate about changing thinking, providing guidance and walking alongside those in our care to explore and educate as they walk their journey of rehabilitation while at ARWCF.

Programme Facilitators in the ARWCF team deliver intensive, therapeutic programmes to offenders serving sentences in prison. The programmes aim to encourage participants to take responsibility for their offending and motivate them towards change. The role includes reflective practice, planning and preparing manualised sessions, report writing, and monitoring progress to enable optimal participation and effective learning.
